Meet you at the pole.

When prayer was removed from public schools, students in Texas decided to 'meet at the pole' for prayer before entering school. Now, millions of students meet at the flag pole on September 28 to celebrate, honor, and pray! God bless those who dare to be different for Jesus! Today, at BCS, we took our devotions outside and joined the millions... And the 'Son' shined!

2016 BCS Fall Fest Video

Thank-you to everyone for helping with and being part of the Fall Fest. It was an awesome day! God is good and I feel very thankful to be part of this school. The road ditches also look great - and everyone contributed with such happy hearts, fills me up!

God Bless.

Fall Fest & Highway Cleanup Reminder

Don't forget the highway cleanup and fall fest is this Wednesday.

Our plan is to clean up ditches in the morning, followed by circle worship - maybe outside (weather permitting), then roast hot dogs and play games. Sounds like we will have a hay ride again too!

If anyone would like to contribute food, just let me know. We have hot dogs and buns covered.

The community is welcome... always!

Looking forward to the week!

School Pictures

What a very beautiful group of students! They make my heart very happy and each of them is so unique. I'm very thankful to get to be part of their lives.

This year we are doing something a little different for ordering school pictures. Due to our increase in  numbers (yay!) and the different orders/requests - I'm no longer going to print them all. I will email you a full res picture and you can order online. Walgreens does a great job and you can usually pick them up the same day or have them shipped. If you do not know how to order online - please let me know and I can do this for you and just give you the total. I hope this works ok for everyone and if it doesn't, we can figure something else out. Please send an email to from the email address you would like me send the pics to. Thanks!

Weekly Update

Dear Parents,
Upon entering our second week of school, we look back to evaluate child's needs and look ahead to an exciting time of working together here at BCS. We will continue to gently challenge each student. The Flamingoes (PreK) will be working with the letters Bb and Cc. We'll be forcusing on the shapes and sounds, listening to stories, and manipulating objects. The Dragonflies (Kdg.) will be working with letters h, m, n, v, w and reading stories with the short e, a, and i sound. We are also going to begin learning about the world of Dick and Jane. For math we will be working on both recognizing and writing numbers along with grouping objects and the beginning stages of adding. Science : Learning about classifying animals. Bible : Studying the book of Mark. Rest Time : Aesop's Fables. Music : Piano lessons and learning about different instruments. We also work on stretching, bible verses, and working together and independently. Art : Lots! Spelling : words with short vow…

A BCS Adventure

The beauty of little and a simple life.

Gracie runs over to me and says, Mason found me a dress for my baby! It's a piece of bark and it fits perfectly!

A couple seconds later, Vincent runs over and says, I found the perfect shield . It's a piece of soggy cardboard, I'll put a cross on it. It's my shield of God. Now I am a proper knight!

Then Mason found an old frisbee and with his swords, we now have 2 Knights protecting the princess and her baby. And they all lived happily ever after. The end. :)

Happy Monday! And school pics.

Good morning! It's going to be a beautiful week. High school boys came in matching, unplanned :) . And we found a cricket!
Also, school pictures will be Wednesday morning. blessings.
