His Grace is Sufficient. 2 Corinthians 12:9

One truth I continue to grow into: His grace truly is sufficient. I believe much, if not all, of our planning and toiling is done in vain. I believe God has a plan for each one of us - far more amazing than anything we could plan. He came up with the universe! :) Our job is to trust Him.

I am convinced that God brought me to BCS because I want to walk with Him and teach others to trust His grace. The creator of allinonehomeschool.com, Lee, is a missionary, mom, and Christian. I think it is good for the parents of students at BCS to read what she wrote about how education and His grace are directly related and to learn a little about the curriculum we use. I strongly agree.... and at BCS, when we give students the opportunity to explore, they only reinforce this truth. They also learn how to make good choices and work together...  to become peacemakers. "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God." Matthew 5:9.

2018-2019 School Year. It's a wrap! Thank You. Summer. & Pics.

What a blessed, challenging, and beautiful school year. I am very grateful for the opportunity to grow in faith and experience life with the children of BCS and their families - and all the volunteers!

I continue to learn so much as I teach and watch each child grow and change and begin their individual relationship with Jesus so they can find their way/His way through this world, spreading light in a darkened world.

We ended the school year with these 2 bible verses for the last week and focused on taking them into the world this summer.

Romans 10:15 How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news.
John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it.

I pray that Jesus will fill the children and their families with the courage to be a light and share the good news over the next four months. We have the great promise of eternal life. There is no more death, Jesus defeated it when he rose from the dead! It's so exciting and beautiful. So G…

Serving

Hey All!

We have another serving event coming up. It's so exciting to have an opportunity to train and disciple our children in serving others and looking past themselves (even if it's just for a couple hours) -- putting them on a path to freedom!

After our last few serve events, we would like to set a few expectations along with more detailed expectations for the next event specifically. Please go over with your child/ren and be prepared to help enforce these requirements with them.

All Serving Events Going Forward
We ask that each parent focus on using this opportunity to teach/help your child/ren serve. If you feel your child is too young to serve the whole time, please just bring them for as long as they are able to serve and then take them home when they get tired. Every little bit helps. Our goal in all serve events is to teach our children the beauty of forgetting about self and reaching out to others and bringing light to a darkened world.

Specific to our next serve even…
