Christmas Program (video). Ice Skating Dates.

A magical evening. The kiddos did amazing and the food and friends were awesome. My heart is full, content, and feeling blessed. Thank you to everyone who came and continue to support the kids and the school. Thank-you Bev for putting the program together and teaching! And thanks Mom, aka Grandma Susan for helping me.... and Lois and Mya and Cassie and Danielle and Kyle and Dad and Dan... actually there is a huge list of people that God continues to work through to make the school possible. .. This is just the tip of the ice berg -- Thank you all so much.

Enjoy the program -- It's just as good the second time :)

Also - Here are the ice skating dates for after the new year : We will dismiss at 11:45 on these days. Please let me know a little in advance if you need help with a ride -- shouldn't be a problem, but just so we know! (I also added these dates to the upcoming events. ) Price is still $5/child or $10/family. This includes skates.

Another Birthday! Singing @ Bethesda.

We celebrated another birthday last week! I feel very blessed to be able to watch these kids grow and be a part of their lives -- and most of all, share Jesus with them and grow together in faith and hope.

This last week our focus was on 'What does it mean to be a Christian?' -- Is it always being kind? or sharing even when it's hard? or always being able to say the right thing?... or help those in need?... While these are all good things -- What truly makes a Christian a Christian is a relationship with Christ -- with our beautiful Savior, Jesus. We don't have to be perfect -- as a matter of fact - He knows we aren't. He will change our hearts, He will grow the fruits,-- we only need to open our hearts and souls to Him. What an awesome Christmas gift! A Savior! Thank you God for loving us and giving us the most perfect gift of all... and for coming to us when we couldn't come to you. Open our hearts to You so you can make us new and work wonders in our souls t…

Birthday & Rcital Pic. Pantry. Christmas Program.

Just a few things :

First off a couple birthday pics from last week :

Next! Amazing job on the recital guys and girls! We will continue working on a variety of Christmas songs throughout the holiday.

Next. Pantry!  Don't forget we are serving at the pantry in Webster tomorrow from 3-5. We will be dismissing at 2:00. Please let me know if you need directions.
Also - we got our first thank-you from the care packages the kids help create and send out every Wednesday to those going through a tough time. It was a very beautiful thank-you and encouragement to continue igniting the prairie lights.
Last! Christmas Program -- Mrs. S. put together the Christmas program for us and they were sent home with your children today. Please take a look at these and make sure you go over and send back in so we can practice with them as well. Each family got one copy. Thank-you Mrs. Schlotte for doing this for us. I can't wait to watch it come to life.
