March 14 Work.

Please do the same as yesterday. In addition, complete reading chapter 13 from the book of Acts.

Our bible verse for the week:
1 Corinthians 12:17 - A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. 

Everyone's readers, vocabulary workbooks, and worksheets were sent home yesterday. Please do the following :

1. Devotion and Yoga

2. Write bible verse and spelling words. Write a sentence/s using 3 spelling words. (let me know if you need them. Your child/ren should have them from yesterday.

3. Math.

4. Reader and Workbook.

5. Language Arts (worksheet).

6. Science. (K-4). We are looking at kinetic vs potential energy and moving molecules. Temperature is the measure of kinetic energy. And how we measure kinetic energy. (They are comfortable with this.) New this week is thermal energy, the measure of potential and kinetic energy. - and Heat, the transfer of thermal energy through conduction, radiation, or convection. I am very thankful to see the sun shining this morning. I think it's so appropriate that our bible verse this week is Psalm 30:5 (this was chosen last week by one of the students :) - God is fun like that.

Blanket Tying & Joy Ranch

Wednesday after lunch, as the kids came in from recess, we tied a blanket and made cards for a man with cerebral palsy. We pray the blanket and messages bring warmth and sunshine to his heart!






We went to Joy Ranch on Thursday.. Here are a few pics from that adventure.
